A GENERAL CARGO AND CONTAINER SHIP ARE THE COMPANY LATEST ADDITION

Year 2011 is another year where ships are sold and ships are newly built.

The company experienced such predicaments that some of its manned ships are sold/transfer, but, as the saying goes, “when a door closes, windows will open!”

We and our seafarers are fortunate for this year, that last March, 2 vessels were almost simultaneously acquired by the company.

The general cargo ship, 2001 built, MV Kookyang Express (ex-TM Spirit) and the container ship, 2000 built, MV Sinokor Yokohama (ex-Henry Schulte),  was boarded by our Filipino crew on March 31 and 30 at Hochiminh and Singapore, respectively.

The Kookyang Express is now manned by Korean Officers and Engineers from our Principals, Fair Shipmanagement Co., Ltd., Pusan, Korea and our Filipino rating crew.  She was previously manned by all foreign crew.

The Sinokor Yokohama, meanwhile, is now under the command of a Korean Master and C/E with Korean Senior officers from our same Principals and our Filipino Junior Officers and rating crew.  She was formerly manned by Full Filipino crew.

Both ships are owned by Korean Shipowners, Sinokor Merchant Marine Co., Ltd., Seoul, Korea.

Bon voyage to both ship!
