8. ISPS - SHIP SECURITY AWARENESS (SSA) COURSE

A two (2) days course for all other Engineer and Rating Crew to understand and be familiar with their functions, duties and responsibilities the Ship Security; accredited by the Philippine MARINA and Panama Maritime Authority conducted in Lecture, Demonstration and Videotel showing with this course with the subject in accordance with the ISPS Code including the following subjects:

      -   Ship Security History, Threats, and Policy
      -   Handling Information, Duties and Responsibility
      -   Security Equipment, Assessment, Threats and Detection of Weapons
      -   Security Levels and Declaration of Security
      -   Ship Security Plans, Emergency and Contingency Plans
