18. MACHINE TOOLS (LATHE MACHINE)

A two (2) days training course for Engineers in accordance with IMO Model Course 7.04 to improve knowledge and skills for ship's maintenance and repairs conducted by Lecture, Demonstration, Videotel show and actual use of Lathe Machine and tools necessary for the assigned work with the following subjects taken:

      -   The Workshop, Kind of Tools and Uses
      -   Precision Tools
      -   The Lathe Machine Parts and Functions
      -   Safety Precautions and Safe Operations of the Machine
      -   Maintenance of the Lathe Machine
      -   Personal Protective Equipment and Uses
