16. LIQUEFIED GAS CARGO HANDLING OPERATIONS COURSE

A two (2) days training course for specialization of Liquefied Gas Cargo Handling Operation for improvement of knowledge, skills and proficiency in operation of Liquefied Gas Cargo Handling conducted by Lecture, Demonstration, Discussions, Videotel and Exercises with the use of the Liquefied Gas Cargo Handling Simulator and the following subjects:

      -   Cargo Calculation and Cargo Stowage Plan
      -   Observance of Safety Precautions and Protective Equipment
      -   Cargo Handling Operation Exercises by the Simulator
      -   Cargo Documentation and Checklist
      -   Cargo Pipelines, Valves and Pumps
      -   Inert Gas System and Compressor System
      -   Exercises on the Cargo Handling Simulator
