15. INTERNATIONAL SAFETY MANAGEMENT (ISM) AND
SAFETY MANAGEMENT SYSTEM (SMS)

A one (1) day In-house training course for Officers and Rating Crew for knowledge and familiarization of the International Safety Management (ISM) Code and the content of the Company Safety Management System with emphasize on the duties and responsibilities, safe operation procedures, the checklist for each operation and the records maintained onboard including the following subjects:

      -   ISM Code, Definition and Objectives
      -   Intention of ISM and the Role of Seafarers
      -   Safety and Environmental Protection Policy
      -   Company Authority, Responsibility and Designated Person Ashore
      -   Masters Responsibility and Authority
      -   Personnel and Shipboard Safe Operation
      -   Emergency Preparedness and Contingency Plan
      -   Reports and Analysis of Non-Conformity and Accident
      -   Maintenance of Ship and Equipment
      -   Documentation and Certification
