FAIR SHIPPING ACQUIRES 2 NEWLY BUILT PCTC FROM EXCEL MARINE CO., LTD.

Our Principals, Excel Marine Co., Ltd., Fukuoka gave another two (2) newly built 6,400 cars capacity Pure Car Carriers (PCC) to be delivered this July 2010.

This comes after the successful delivery of their 6,400 cars capacity, MV Porgy last June 8, 2009 by FSC all Filipino crew.

First is the MV Garnet Ace, a 60,148 GRT PCC, which will be delivered at Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Shipyard at Nagasaki, Japan on July 8, 2010, chartered by Japanese shipping giants, MOL.

She will be under the initial command of our seasoned Filipino Captain and C/E, Capt. Wilfredo J. Clemente and C/E Reynaldo Besana Jr., who also delivered the MV Porgy, with our efficient and well trained all Filipino crew.

And then, the Bess, a sister ship of MV Porgy and a 58,750 GRT PCC.

She will start her maiden voyage from Shin Kurushima Shipbuildyard at Toyohashi, Japan on July 23, 2010 after the delivery ceremony.

Both vessels are owned by Hakuyo Shipping Co., Ltd., Fukuoka, Japan.

With the addition of these 2 vessels, it will give more rooms of opportunities to our seasoned ex-PCC and loyal crew.
