PANAMA AMBASSADOR MADE COURTESY
CALL AT FSC TRAINING CENTER
The Panama Ambassador to the Philippines, Mr. Ivan
J. Crespo made his courtesy call at the FSC
Training Center (FSCTC) on April 13, 2010.
Our Training Director, Capt. Salvador Salto and
Head Faculty, Capt. Roberto Beltran, courteously
received and accommodated Mr. Crespo. He was made
to looked around every rooms and equipment of the
training center and finally commented, “I’m
Impressed”.
His visit to FSC Training Center might be a good
assurance of the training center’s continuous with
the Panama Maritime Authority.
During his visit, the good Ambassador gladly
revealed that many young Panamanian’s are now
interested in entering the seafaring field. And
that, Panama government has now started to train
Panamanian seafarers, with one maritime school
graduating less than twenty (20) student soon,
which they will require to join Panama flag vessel
for shipboard training.
