PANAMA MARITIME AUTHORITY APPROVES ANEW THE ACCREDITATION OF FSC TRAINING CENTER, INC.’S TRAINING COURSES

On February 01, 2010, Panama Maritime Authority’s Maritime Training Department, audited FSC Training Center, Inc.

The audit’s intent is for the training center’s continuous accreditation of its training courses, which has been officially recognized by the Panama government since year 2005.

Panama Maritime Training Department representatives audit scope carefully scrutinized the training center’s certification for ISO 9001/2000 and STCW 78/95 training courses, specifically IMO Courses, Courses Manual, Instructor’s Competence,  Training Trazability and Issuance of Certificates.

Auditors also visually inspected the facilities of the training center.

At the end of the day, FSC Training Center’s Ship Security Officers (SSO) Training Course, continuous to be accredited by the Panama Maritime Authority.

The FSC Training Center in its continuous effort to be highly recognized in the maritime industries training sector, have also applied accreditation from Panama Maritime Authority for all its MTC accredited training courses, which includes:

1. MLC (Deck Department)
2. SSBT with BRM
3. Operational Use of ECDIS
4. HAZMAT with CFR 49
5. Engine Room Simulator
6. Cargo Handling and Care of Cargo
7. Automatic Identification System (AIS)

With the approval of the accreditation of above courses by Panama Maritime Authority, the FSC Training Center with Fair Shipping Corp. and Cordial Shipping Inc. , will fulfill its commitment to deploy only highly trained and competent officers and crew.
